Perfect for anglers looking to experience the excitement of Lake Ontario fishing, our 6-hour morning, 8-hour morning and 6-7-hour afternoon/evening charter packages offer an action-packed adventure targeting the lake's most sought-after species.
After departing the marina aboard our comfortable Pursuit 3400 Express, we'll head to productive fishing grounds where you'll have the opportunity to battle Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and Lake Trout, depending on the season and current conditions.
Whether you're a seasoned angler or fishing for the first time, we'll provide all the professional equipment, instruction, and local knowledge needed to give you the best opportunity for success. Our goal is to make your trip enjoyable, memorable, and productive from the first rod set to the final fish in the net.
Throughout the trip, you'll enjoy the comfort of a spacious offshore fishing boat complete with a private enclosed bathroom, comfortable seating, and quality electronics designed to keep you on the fish.
At the end of your charter, we'll professionally clean, fillet, and bag your catch, so it's ready to take home and enjoy.

6-Hour Morning Charter $1150
Start your day with the best that Lake Ontario has to offer. Our morning charters leave the dock at first light, putting you on the water just in time for the productive early morning bite. Watch the sun rise over the lake as we target trophy King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Lake Trout during one of the most exciting times of the day to fish. There's no better way to experience the beauty of Lake Ontario than with a sunrise, a screaming reel, and fresh fish in the net.
For groups of up to 6 anglers but can be increased to a maximum of 8 anglers for $150 per person
8-Hour Morning Charter $1350
Start your day with the best that Lake Ontario has to offer. Our morning charters leave the dock at first light, putting you on the water just in time for the productive early morning bite. Watch the sun rise over the lake as we target trophy King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Lake Trout during one of the most exciting times of the day to fish. To finish the trip, enjoy a relaxing lunch on the water while taking in the scenery as the captain cleans, filets, and prepares your daily catch right on board. It’s the perfect way to end a successful morning—good food, great views, and your fresh catch ready to take home.

6-7-Hour Afternoon Charter $1150
Spend your evening on the waters of Lake Ontario as we leave the dock between 3:00 and 3:30 PM, perfectly timed to fish the legendary "witching hour"—when salmon and trout often become their most active before sunset. As the day winds down, enjoy breathtaking views of the sun setting over the lake while targeting King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Lake Trout. It's the perfect combination of spectacular scenery, exciting fishing, and an unforgettable evening on the water.

My name is Adam, and I am the owner/operator of Reel Distraction Sportfishing. I've spent nearly 30 years fishing the waters of Lake Ontario, and ever since I was old enough to hold a fishing rod, I've had a passion for being on the water and learning everything this incredible fishery has to offer.
Over the years, I've gained extensive experience targeting Lake Ontario's premier sport fish, including salmon, trout, and walleye. Countless hours on the water have taught me how these fish move with the seasons, weather, and changing conditions, allowing me to consistently put clients on fish.
Whether you're an experienced angler looking for a trophy catch or introducing your family to the excitement of fishing for the first time, my goal as owner/operator of Reel Distraction Sportfishing is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and memorable day on the water. I take pride in sharing my knowledge, creating a fun atmosphere, and helping every guest experience the thrill that has kept me coming back to Lake Ontario for nearly three decades.

Meet Captain Wesley
Captain Wesley brings more than 15 years of fishing experience on Lake Ontario and a lifelong passion for the outdoors. His time on the water has given him the knowledge and skills to consistently target Lake Ontario's world-class salmon, trout, and walleye fisheries.
In addition to his experience on Lake Ontario, Wesley has spent time working at remote fly-in fishing camps in Northern Alberta, where he guided anglers in some of Canada's most pristine wilderness. That experience sharpened his abilities as both an angler and a guide, while reinforcing his commitment to providing exceptional customer service and unforgettable fishing adventures.
Whether you're chasing your first salmon, looking for a trophy trout, or hoping to fill the cooler with walleye, Captain Wesley is dedicated to making every trip enjoyable, educational, and successful. His friendly personality, strong work ethic, and passion for fishing ensure that every guest has a memorable experience on the water.
Caleb Mclean
Meet Captain Apprentice Caleb
At just 16 years old, Captain Apprentice Caleb has already built an impressive fishing résumé. Having grown up on the water, fishing has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember, and his passion for the sport is evident in everything he does.
Caleb serves as the captain of his high school's fishing team and has represented it at the prestigious Bassmaster High School Tournament in the United States. His love of angling has also taken him across the globe, including an upcoming fishing adventure in Zimbabwe.
When he's not aboard the charter or fishing with his dad, there's a good chance you'll find Caleb standing in a river with a fly rod in hand, always chasing the next bite and looking for another opportunity to learn. Simply put, he eats, sleeps, and lives fishing.
As Captain Apprentice, Caleb brings an incredible work ethic, enthusiasm, and eagerness to help every guest have an unforgettable day on the water. Whether he's setting lines, netting fish, or sharing his knowledge with clients, his passion is contagious and a big part of what makes every trip memorable.
